Character Assessment Day

Testing the dog's ability to deal with a slippery surface off the ground and stay calm and sure footed

Mascani recently hosted a Character Assessment Day in Stafford. Character assessments are an important part of rersponsible breeding and responsible ownership. The Character Assessment itself is carried out by a qualified Assessor accompanied by an experinced helper. One of the Assessors on this day was our own Shirley Hutchinson, who is a member of the German Shepherd LEague of Great Britain Committee. One of the Assistants was also a member of the Mascani Team, Zep Zizzi. The Character Assessment is designed to assess the dog's behaviour and its flexibility by confronting them with different stimuli that may trigger or provoke a particular behaviour.
